SUMMARY:TomTheAcrobat London Workshop | 19-20th November 22
DESCRIPTION:About Tom\n———————————\nTom is a professional circus artist and teacher who started training Dutch acrobatics\, upgraded it with Ukrainian technique\, refined his work under the tutelage of various experienced coaches and incorporated elements of dance and martial arts in his movement.\nSome of his teachers are: Jim and Det\, Wybren Wouda (ACAPA; Codarts)\, Slava Kukuskin (Kiev; Moscow; ESAC)\, Chris Murawski (German & Polish Sport acrobat with more than 20 national and international titles)\nTom was born in Bavaria (Germany) as the only German who is not on time. After trying almost every sport he got hooked on acrobatics at the age of 18.\nDuring his chemical engineering studies\, he started performing in various groups\, duos and trios all over Europe.\nAfter an “early-life-crisis” in 2014\, he decided to quit his studies (which made his parents really happy)\, and went as a guest student to the circus school ACAPA in Tilburg where he graduated together with Ayla Moes who is currently one of his acrobatic partners.\nSince then\, he has been performing in various festivals\, theatres\, operas\, circuses and dance shows amongst others.\nIn the last years\, he also joined WIRWAR Company and teamed up with Friedi Kohring with whom he works since march 2020.\nHis combined lack of discipline\, natural ability to avoid hard work\, love for comedy series\, excessive sun bathing and awesome hairstyle\, have created the performer and teacher he is today. \nWorkshops:\n———————————\nAbout both workshops:\nThe focus of these workshops will be on using the right technique\, finding the most effective way to do tricks and learning some cool elements.\nParticipants will learn how to break down complex skills and how to work with dynamic energy.\nThe level of the workshops will be adjusted to the participants and will cover different levels. If some drills are too hard\, there will be an easier pre-exercise\, if some tricks are too easy\, then there is always a way to make it difficult for you.\nNOTE: to attend the full weekend\, you need to be able to meet the prerequisites for the sunday (advanced day). \n**Saturday 19th\, Intermediate**\n****FULL – WAITLIST ONLY****\nIf you want to learn or improve your standing acrobatics and hand to hand\, then this is the workshop for you!\nBasic training to build the foundation\, exercises and drills to work on positioning\, timing and technique. Next to all of that\, you will learn fun and challenging tricks with different variations based on your level. Every day starts with a specific warm up and ends with a cool down.\n>>> Content >Prerequisites
