DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Yorkshire’s first ever Acrobatics Convention!\n\nWe have a sports hall in the centre of Leeds for 3 days to play\, learn\, train and socialise!\nWe will be offering workshops in a range of standing acro and acro-yoga skills\, including l-base flows\, standing f2h & h2h tricks and fundamentals\, icarian\, handstands & more.\n\nTeachers: COMING SOON\nIf you are interested in teaching at the convention\, please contact us at yorkshireacro@gmail.com\n\nCosts: Early Bird – £130\nStandard – £160\nT – Shirts – £15\n\nBooking IS OPEN!!\nRegister here\,\nhttps://forms.gle/i6jdSo8axZJt11mH7\n\nLevel:\nBeginners – With the north being famously friendly\, we welcome you with open arms to come along and have a go! There will always be a workshop suitable for beginners / open level.\n\nIntermediates – All the fun\, challenges and variety for you. We will be offering options for standing and l-base\, every round and will be looking to teach you new and exciting skills\, as well as give you drills to work on at home to master your high level basics.\n\nAdvanced – You wont be sat around twiddling your thumbs. We are bringing some high level teachers that will up the difficulty for you and keep you on your toes (or hands\, feet whichever body part of you’re choosing)\, and if that doesn’t take your fancy\, there will be plenty of space to jam.\n\nTimes:\nFriday 6PM – 9:30PM\nSaturday 10AM – 9PM\nSunday 10AM – 8PM\n\nAccommodation:\nThere are plenty of AirB&Bs and hotels locally as Leeds is a nice big city.\nThe venue is a 15 min walk from the Leeds Train station\, so you can travel in\, with easy connections from most major cities.\n\nFood:\nTea\, coffee and light snacks will be supplied throughout the weekend in large quantities. Please bring your own mug.\nThere is a Tesco Express 2 min walk away from the venue\, and a number of cafe’s nearby. The Edge is a Uni building and there is a uni cafe in the venue also.\n\nTransport:\nBy Train:\nLeeds Train station is a 15 min walk away from the venue\, so it’s nice and easy.\nYou can get a direct train to Leeds from London\, Bristol\, Manchester\, Glasgow and many more. We recommend you check for train strikes in advance of the event!\nIf you’re travelling by air\, the Leeds Bradford airport which is a 30 minute drive from the venue.\nManchester airport is one hour drive from the venue or you can get a train directly to Leeds from there.\n\nBy Car:\nThere is very limited parking at the venue which also comes with a cost.
